Community Youth Soccer began in the fall of 1999 with only 45 players and has grown to five age divisions, with over 300 children participating. With the support of Community Bible Church, Community Christian School, parents, and members of the community we will continue to strive toward our goals of (1) providing a positive and safe environment for children to have fun and learn the basics of the game of soccer and (2) to provide an opportunity for the entire family to be involved. Parental involvement has been the cornerstone in allowing this program to be successful. As part of this league, we ask that all parents take an active part in contributing their time, talent, and resources to make this league the quality program that your child deserves.
One factor that truly sets this program apart from other programs is the positive environment that we provide for the children. The league is rooted in Christian principles and we strive to share the Word with the families involved with the league. The program is entirely administered by volunteers. All coaches, referees, and committee organizers are volunteers. We ask that all of our coaches, officials, players, and parents maintain high standards of conduct and treat each other with the respect that each of us would want for ourselves. We ask that all involved conduct themselves in a manner that would glorify Christ.
